Hello Mr. Kelly,
My name is Nick Popolano. I live on Long Island, NY. Recently, a
friend of mine found what looks to be some sort of yearbook type book of the
USS Bunker Hill dated Nov,43/Nov,44. In it he found a citation presented to
Mr. Lannon, signed by Pres. Harry Truman. There is also a Presidential Unit
Citation to the USS Bunker Hill signed by the Secretary of the Navy. I'm
hoping that you might be able to point me in the right direction to find Mr.
Lannon or his next of kin for I'm sure he or they would cherish this
keepsake. I know I would if it were mine or my fathers. If you can be of any
